The Theatre School at DePaul University
Chicago, IL
2014
DePaul's 3-year MFA Directing program prepared students for careers as freelance directors, college professors, and/or artistic directors of regional theaters. I assisted professional directors on 2 productions and directed student actors in 6 productions with different-sized budgets and performance spaces, including my thesis production, Moth by Declan Greene. I also completed a curriculum consisting of script analysis, dramaturgy, collaboration, scene study, staging techniques, and acting.
Bachelor of Arts in French & Theatre Arts
Drew University
Madison, NJ
2001
Drew's liberal arts theatre program gives students experience in all aspects of the art form - acting, directing, playwriting, design, stage management, and theatre history - which inspired me to co-found a theatre company with fellow Drew graduates in Philadelphia in 2004.
